The VetCare Team

You will find each of our friendly and highly experienced veterinary staff profiled under our team, most with just one of their own pets, we simply couldn't fit the full menagerie in!

  • Veterinary Doctors

Alex and Steve getting a blood sample before surgery, makes sure there's no undetected issues under anesthesia.

  • Veterinary Nurses

The nursing team saving lives. It's who they are, it's what they do. This time it's a plastic whale. Now they're ready for the real thing.

  • Ancilliary Staff

We've assembled a line-up of the very best adjunctive pet health professionals for you. Simon the Dog Guru and Dr Todd Animal Chiropractor are both at your disposal. Here's the whole gang getting cosy with the sharks at Kelly Tarltons, most returned safely.

Here are some very high-brow instructional videos we use for in-clinic team training and on career day.

Testimonials

"My cat had been diagnosed with growths that needed a life-saving operation at a cost which I couldn't afford and I had to make the heart-wrenching decision to put her to sleep.

When I arrived with my cat, Squeaker, for her final journey on that horrible dark stormy day, Alex (and Steve) offered to bear the majority of the cost of the operation kindly saying that he was confident he could give this puss quality of life. So Squeaker the puss has a true Guardian Angel who has given her a true new lease of life.

I am so grateful and couldn't believe that there are still some really lovely professionals in the world that have true passion for their work and are not just out to make a big buck.

A very big thank you to Squeakers Guardian Angels, the team at VetCare Grey Lynn."
