Caring for your pet

Rebecca Abel

VN

Veterinary Nurse

I love animals, of course, and have two large dogs to keep me company. The shot here is with Nahla, my staffie cross.

I've been a Vet Nurse for five years now and have been at VetCare since May 2007.

My other passion on a smaller scale, is dancing. The rest of the team at VetCare are a fantastic bunch to work with and are a great laugh.

What brings you to vet care?

My mum works there and I like visiting all my dog friends

What is your main role in the household/business?

Food processor, cuddler, bed warmer

What is your favourite toy?

Any soft toy I can pull the eyes off and then disembowel

Who is your best friend?

Nahla, Bruiser, Lennox, Rosie, Blue, pretty much everyone that will play with me

What is the coolest thing that happened to you?

Having my chains removed from the streets of slavery and now being fed and cared for like the roman god I am!

What don't you like?

Being alone, and being told off.  Anger - I'm a lover not a fighter

What food will you do tricks for - what are the tricks?

Everything, sit, lay upside down in mums lap, shake hands

Do you have any weird medical problems?

Not really, pretty healthy.  I think I might be gay but thats not a medical problem, I get confused as Blue the sexy male Italian greyhound humps me non stop on our walks and I quite like it,  but I like some girl dogs too!

Here I am wearing my outreach bandana looking more handome than my first photo!
